Dr. Gavin Grimaldi, DC
Founder & Chiropractic Physician
I established Veloce Spine & Sport in 2023 with one goal: bring evidence-based sports chiropractic to Lebanon, Tennessee. The practice was built around a specific kind of patient. Athletes, active adults, and the people who refuse to slow down. My approach blends modern chiropractic care with dry needling, soft tissue therapy, and corrective rehab to fix the source of pain, not just chase symptoms.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Biology from Juniata College in Pennsylvania, where I played collegiate baseball at the Division III level. From there, I moved to St. Louis to complete my doctorate of chiropractic at Logan University, graduating Cum Laude in December 2022.
During my residency, I spent 8 months working under the Tennessee Titans team chiropractor. That experience shaped how I practice today. Working with professional athletes taught me that effective care is fast, integrated, and built around real outcomes. The same evidence-based, athlete-tested methods I learned during my residency are what every Veloce patient receives, regardless of their athletic background.
My treatment approach is integrated. While performing adjustments, I also use dry needling with electrical stimulation, cupping, active release technique, and corrective rehab programming. I believe understanding muscle function is essential for patients to achieve real, lasting pain relief, not just temporary symptom management.
I was a collegiate baseball player at a Division III school in Pennsylvania. During my athletic career, I ate what I wanted when I wanted, with no understanding of nutrition. I had no understanding of how my body moved functionally. Improper nutrition combined with the inability to understand mobility or strength training led me to be an average athlete.
My goal with Veloce is to create the kind of practice I wish I had access to when I was competing. A practice that combines chiropractic care, performance training, massage therapy, and education into one integrated experience. A practice built for athletes who want to be more than average. And for active adults who refuse to let aches and pains limit how they live.
