What is the noise?
The "popping" sound you hear when an adjustment is performed, is a gas release from the affected joint. Pressure is released from the joint, thus leading to an audible "pop".
It is important to note that if a "pop" is not heard, the adjustment may still happen. An audible noise does not indicate a successful adjustment or treatment.
